Full payment is needed to reserve your space. There must be a minimum of two participants to schedule a class so get your friends to sign up with you!

See a knit or crochet sample in the shop that you love but don’t feel confident taking on by yourself? Have you found a pattern you love but don’t feel confident tackling? Ask us and we can set up a class just for you, or you and a friend or two. Rates are very reasonable and we’ve found this is a surefire way we can help you grow in your knitting. Always wanted to learn to make magic out of sticks and string? Still recovering from Aunt Mabel's itchy sweaters? Can't seem to have enough of those cool summer scarves all those dashing gals are wearing? It's time. Learn the all the basics of knitting and the exciting world of the new fibers to be had for the touching. Our kind and patient teachers will take you through all the basics. Students will make two washcloths and then move on to a personal project.

LEARN TO CROCHET

There is something so satisfying about seeing your stitches fly and the work progress. Students will learn basic stitches on a washcloth and then move on to more advanced techniques with a flower. The third class is reserved for picking and getting started on a project.

TOP DOWN SWEATER

You will be knitting a pullover, long sleeve sweater from the neck down using circular needles. It is an uncomplicated, versatile design that you will be able to personalize as you choose. The pace and layout of the class require a significant amount of knitting between classes, which you can adjust considerably by the pattern you choose. Several patterns are available for you to choose from.

TATTING

-Class Skill Levels-

Beginner
No prior instruction or maybe it's been awhile since you have attempted a project.

Confident Beginner
Knows the basic cast-ons, bind-offs, increases and decreases and is ready for more challenges.

Intermediate
Has some experience with more advanced techniques like knitting-in-the-round. Knows at least three cast-ons, a couple of different bind-offs, and at least two different increases and decreases.

Advanced
Often knits without looking at their hands. Has been known to fall asleep while knitting... and will usually complete the row anyway (not that it's always correct). Is capable of knitting at stoplights. But who would do such a thing?

-Class Policies-

  1. Your registration is confirmed upon payment.
  2. Registration grants you a cool 10% on class supplies only from the week before class through the last day of your class.
  3. If the class is canceled you will receive a full refund.
  4. We do not offer refunds for classes if they are on schedule. We're glad to work you with advance notice if you are unable to make the class or you can choose to take store credit.
  5. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
 6.     Private classes can be arranged.
