Knit-n-Crochet: Happy 2016!

Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season. The new year is ushering in some exciting new things!

For the month of January, all of our pre-printed patterns are 30% off. Most of these patterns are found in our binders.

Our January Club kit features Wonderland mini skeins by Frabjous Fibers. These mini skein kits include 5 colors that are gradient. The Thorne Cowl is a color block cowl that uses short rows to make interesting stripes and the Color Chart Mitts that also takes advantage of the gradient colors. There is enough yarn to make both patterns, making it a fun set to keep or gift.

We will also be hosting an Artyarns KAL on Janusary 22 and 29 from 10:00am - noon. This knit-a-long features 2 skeins of Artyarn's Ensemble Light. Iris has hand selected some of the color combinations for us. The Taj Triangle shawl is pictured below. Iris has also included a rectangular shawl as another option. Come in and pick 2 contrasting colors to create your very own masterpiece.

We will also be offering a couple of new classes. The first is a finishing class by teacher Linda Jo. Her class will teach you how to make your finished project look more professional. We have had rave reviews from students who have taken this class in the past. This class will be on Monday January 25th 2-4pm.

Secondly, we are offering a monthly sweater workshop. If you ever wanted to knit a sweater, but were afraid to try it on your own, this class is for you. If you are working on a sweater, and are stuck, this class is for you as well. The sweater workshop will be on the 2nd Friday of each month from 10 am - noon. The cost will be $10.00 per session.

We will be closing on Monday, January 18th, in observance of Martin Luther King day.

Finally, if the weather is exceptionally nasty outside, and the roads dangerous, we may choose to close the store for our safety. So please call before heading in to the shop if there are winter storm warnings.
