The project for our September Mystery Knit Club is Thrummed Mittens. A
thrum is a wisp of unspun fleece or roving that is knit into your
project every so often. Thrumming makes the insides soft, fuzzy, and
warm. Combining knitting yarn with a soft fiber makes for nice plump
lightweight thrummed mittens that will keep your hands toasty warm this
winter. Thrummed mittens also make lovely Christmas gifts.
We will be closed Monday, September 5th, for Labor Day. We hope you have
a wonderful day as we too spend time with our families.
